The building of the centre was            the opportunity to experiment techniques             ignored in Siby: the cabins were built                with CEB (Compressed Earth Blocks).             It permitted to train local brick makers         and bricklayers to this technique.       The material indeed requires a                   thorough precision and obligations to       achieve a work of quality.                 The roofing also permitted to train                  Siby’s craftsmen, by adapting existing       carpentry and straw roofing             techniques (training by Bamako’s      craftsmen)                We attach great value to the village           development oriented process.
